In a major stride towards strengthening career preparedness and industry engagement, South Asian University, New Delhi, India (SAU). inaugurated its Training and Placement Cell and officially launched its first Placement Brochure in a formal ceremony held on campus. The event was graced by Hon’ble President Prof. Krishan Aggarwal, Registrar Dr. Ravindra Kumar Soni, the Deans of all faculties, Director (Admissions and Examinations), and several senior members of the academic and administrative community. Their presence underscored SAU’s institutional commitment to fostering student success both within and beyond the classroom. Dr. Reshma Rastogi, Faculty In-Charge of the Training and Placement Cell, delivered a comprehensive address highlighting the Cell’s journey so far, key achievements, and the roadmap ahead. She spoke about the proactive steps taken to establish industry connections, organize skill development initiatives, and create meaningful placement and internship opportunities for students. She also articulated the vision and mission of the Placement Cell — to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional readiness, empower students with essential skills and confidence, and position South Asian University as a trusted talent source for leading organizations. The newly launched Placement Brochure developed by Students of Btech and student representatives of Training and Placement Cell, serves as a window into the university’s academic excellence, diverse student capabilities, and global outlook. It is designed to help recruiters engage with the exceptional talent nurtured at SAU. This inauguration marks a significant milestone in SAU’s journey, reinforcing its focus on student empowerment, industry collaboration, and holistic development. The enthusiastic participation of students, faculty, and leadership reflected a shared vision of building a robust and future-ready placement ecosystem.
