The Global Library Summit 2025 began on a high note this morning at the India International Centre, New Delhi!

The event was inaugurated with the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing wisdom, knowledge, and enlightenment. Chief Guest Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, South Asian University, New Delhi, India (SAU) President Hon’ble Prof. K.K. Aggarwal, and other esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. Devika Madalli(Director, INFLIBNET, Gandhinagar), Dr. AP Singh(Director General, National Library Kolkata, India, Shri. Akash Patil ( Director, DAIC, New Delhi)

Dr Ambedkar International Centre AIC – Dr Ambedkar International Center and Dr. Dhananjay Tripathi (Organizing Secretary) graced the stage, marking the beginning of this transformative summit.

  • Unveiling of the GLS Souvenir by Prof. K.K. Aggarwal (President SAU New Delhi), celebrating the occasion With the theme “Library Diplomacy: Uniting Nations Through Library Cooperation,” this summit is set to bring global perspectives on knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
