Hon. Chancellor Dr Mahamood Shougee visited the South Asian University, New Delhi, India (SAU) Campus on February 18, 2025 and delivered the Distinguished Public Lecture on ‘Educational Partnership between India and Maldives: Looking Back and Forward’. In his lecture, he highlighted ‘the possible way’s forward to build Educational Partnerships between the The Maldives National University and SAU’. In his remarks, Hon. President South Asian University Prof K K Aggarwal, ‘offered full support to build, and take this partnership forward with Maldives National University’. He underlined that ‘SAU looks forward to the collaboration, and highlighted the mandate and mission of SAU to not just provide quality education, but also to build Knowledge without Borders’. As part of the visit Hon. Chancellor interacted with Prof Sanjay Chaturvedi, VP(Outreach), Prof Pankaj Jain VP(Academic), Prof Pranab Muhuri, VP( International Collaboration), Dr Ravindra Kumar Soni, Registrar, Deans, Chairpersons, Faculty Members, Officials and students across Departments, and Faculties.
