Dr. Toshima Karki, former State Minister of Health & Population and Hon. Member of Parliament, Nepal, visited South Asian University, New Delhi, India South Asian University, New Delhi, India (SAU), to meet Hon. Prof. K K Aggarwal, President of SAU. Prof. Aggarwal outlined SAU’s flagship initiatives driving regional academic excellence. Prof. Pooran Chandra Pandey, Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Excellence on Climate Change, Green Transition & Sustainability, joined the discussions. Dr. Karki proposed launching a Center for Medical Studies in Nepal in partnership with SAU. She wrapped up her visit with an inspiring meet-and-greet with Nepali research scholars at SAU. This collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening Nepal-India ties in higher education and research.
